Properties
Detoxinet was tested in vivo to reduce UV induced LPO (Lipid Peroxidase). Using Detoxinet at 0.05%, increases NQO1 activity by 25%. Using Detoxinet at 0.2%, NQO1 activity is increased by 45%. It takes just 0.68% of Detoxinet to reduce UV induced LPO by half. At 0.2% Detoxinet turns on the NQO1 genes in the cytoplasm and favors the translocation of NQO1 in the nucleus where it becomes active.
